Ideal for large or small groups with a tight schedule, these tailored trails take in a variety of tastes, sights and experiences synonymous with the Swan Valley.

Value packed, yet restful and relaxing, our Half Day Trails are very popular.


Morning Trail - "Tastes of the Valley":

FEATURES INCLUDE:
Transport in luxury "pioneer-style" Clydesdale-drawn wagons with informative commentary by experienced, service focussed driver/guides.
An informative presentation and tasting of regional extra virgin olive oils, olives and locally produced dukkah
Fresh local home-made produce, eg jams, pickles, relishes, butters and sauces.
Seasonal fresh produce eg asparagus, citrus fruits, melons, grapes, famous Swan Valley sun-dried fruits and 100% natural honey.
Tasting of premium wines, fortifieds and Swan Valley grape juice at renowned Edgecombe Bros Winery.
Instruction in the Art & Technique of Wine Appreciation.
Seasonal tasting of fruit straight from the vine and by arrangement groups may enjoy seasonal fruit picking.
A guided tour of historic All Saints Church, the oldest in Western Australia and virtual birthplace of the colony, located on the banks of the Swan River.
Sampling of fresh ice-cream creations at Oggie's Ice Cream Cafe & English Lolly Shop.
Relaxing and scenic off-road trailing through the natural bird sanctuary and wetland of Lake Yakine.

Afternoon Trail - "Vineyard Meander":

FEATURES INCLUDE:

A visit to Maalinup Gallery and Gift Shop to discover Australia's unique indigenous culture.
An opportunity to learn how to play a didgeridoo, throw a boomerang, and purchase WA art, glassware and hand-made jewellery ideal for gifts or souvenirs.
Sampling of fresh ice-cream creations at Oggie's Ice Cream Cafe & English Lolly Shop.
Instruction in the Art & Technique of Wine Appreciation.
Sampling of premium wines and local nougat at Charlies Estate Wines & Nougat Boutique.
Tasting of premium wines, fortifieds and Swan Valley grape juice at renowned Edgecombe Bros Winery. Afternoon tea or coffee is also available.

Venues visited are air-conditioned, provide clean restrooms, offer a safe environment and/or play area for young children, and accept credit card payments.


Ample shaded off-road parking is available at the Wagon Trails Base.





WEATHER   NOTE:

Our Clydesdale-drawn wagons are TOTALLY   WEATHERPROOFED against wind, rain and sun and operate in ALL  SEASONS.

Scheduled trails will not be cancelled due to inclement weather.    However, should a scheduled trail be cancelled due to extreme conditions, booked passengers will be notified in advance.
