Ideal for large or small groups with a tight schedule, these tailored trails take in a variety of tastes, sights and experiences synonymous with the Swan Valley.



The wagon trails utilise comfortable fully upholstered and weatherproofed horse-drawn wagon.
















Morning Trail - "Tastes of the Valley":

DEPARTURE: - 9.30am Wednesday to Sundays and Public Holidays from
12001 West Swan Road in Henley Brook (only 100 metres north of Gnangara Road) - please arrive 9.15am

COST:   (pricing includes GST) :

$A 55.00 Concession (Senior's Card Holders, YHA Members & Full-time Students 15-25 - ID required)
$A 30.00 Children (U/14)
$A 10.00 Infant (nursed in arms or stroller - self catered by parent)

  • Passengers may indulge in delicious seasonal fruit tasting
        (dried fruits, table grapes, citrus, asparagus) as well as home-made jams,
        pickles, sauces, also 100% natural honey.






















  • A new experience for many will be instruction in the comparative
        tasting of a variety of local extra virgin olive oils - learn to
        judge the "good oil" just like the experts.

    Of course the perfect accompaniment to quality extra virgin olive
    oil is Dukkah.

  • Enjoy scenic vineyard and lakeside trailing through the natural bird sanctuary
        en route to a colonial historic visit on the banks of the Swan River
        - peaceful All Saints Church.

        and lush green pasture

    The "Vineyard Meandr" wagon trail will visit Maalinup Gallery and Gift Shop to enjoy a journey into the indigenous culture which is so richly captured in the Swan Valley.    Guests will have the opportunity to learn the technique required to throw a boomerang,  the background to traditional tools,  listen to dream time stories,  play a didgeridoo as well as discover the beauty of hand crafted glassware,  jewellery pieces and many other items suitable as souvenirs or unique gifts.

    Maalinup Gallery also caters for those intrigued with "bush tucker" and traditional foods.

    Our next stop will excite the taste buds at the Swan Valley's independent ice creamery - Oggie's Ice Cream Cafe & English Lolly Shop






  • Offering extensive off-road trailing, passengers will enjoy venturing
        deep into the heart of the vineyard to get "up close and personal"
        with the vines, seasonally loaded with bunches of red and white grapes.












  • The Vineyard Meander's first off-road adventure will be trailing
        through Charlie's Estate property - a seasonal treat is to
        personally pick the fresh Shiraz grapes direct from the vine.



















  • The Vineyard Meander will call into Charlie's Estate Wine
        and Nougat.


















  • Charlies Estate Wines are designed to include the preferences of a wide
         range of wine drinkers, ranging from the average day-to-day wine lover,
        to the more demanding wine connoisseur.












  • The Charlies Estate Winery boasts a unique first in the Swan Valley
        - their very own boutique Nougat facility.

















  • This unique facility offers a range of individually packed Nougat
        styles for sale to compliment that special wine purchase.
        Freshly produced nougat is offered for tasting daily.



















  • Heading off-road again, the wagon trail will meander down
        beside a sweet scented pine forest, olive grove and deep into quiet
        Australian bush tracks















  • The peaceful off-road trailing is a highlight of this wagon trail
        so it's not uncommon to form a "wagon train!!"















  • Seasonally our wagon trail will stop and provide guests with
        the opportunity to taste "grapes direct from the vine" - what a treat!















  • Arriving at Edgecombe Bros winery...... tastings will include the "sweet ,
        treats" of the Valley - seasonal fresh and dried fruits,
        100% natural honey, and home-made jams and butters.













  • Edgecombe Bros extensive range of wines, including their renowned Liqueur
        Muscat is sure to tempt passengers to take home a
        sample of premium wines to share with friends!!










  • WEATHER   NOTE:

    Our Clydesdale-drawn wagons are TOTALLY    WEATHERPROOFED against wind, rain and sun and operate in ALL  SEASONS.

    Scheduled trails will not be cancelled due to inclement weather.    However, should a scheduled trail be cancelled due to extreme conditions, booked passengers will be notified in advance.
